Northwest Harvest distributed more than 32 million pounds of food last year, setting a distribution record and allowing us to serve unprecedented numbers of hungry people.

All of our food and operating funds come from individuals, businesses, foundations and other organizations, and 93 percent of our total budget goes to food distribution.

Kent Warehouse

In 2007 Northwest Harvest moved into our "Warehouse For Washington" in Kent, where we perform the heart of our mission—receiving, handling and distributing food. The Kent warehouse is critical to our efforts to provide more nutritious food to our partner food banks and meal programs throughout the state.

Spokane Warehouse

After more than five years serving the Spokane community with just a truck and no warehouse, Northwest Harvest leased a warehouse in Spokane that became fully operational in early 2010. Located in the Spokane Valley, the warehouse offers 13,600 square feet of dry storage and two loading docks, one of which is occupied by a refrigerated trailer. This facility has improved our level of efficiency significantly.

Yakima Warehouse

Northwest Harvest delivers more than 6.5 million pounds of food each year to more than 75 hunger relief programs in 14 counties in Central Washington. In addition to securing local produce from growers, we bring staples such as rice beans, pasta, meat and fish into the region to make sure families are provided well-rounded, nutritious meals.

Emergency Food Network

Emergency Food NetworkEmergency Food Network is a regional distributor serving Pierce County, distributing nearly 15.1 million pounds of food to 74 programs without fees. They also operate the eight-acre organic Mother Earth Farm that grows about 150,000 pounds of fresh produce for food banks and meal programs.
