Fall: More Than Pretty Foliage

Fall can mean so many things depending on your perspective. I see so many people on Facebook posting and commenting about their favorite aspects of fall. For some it's specialty coffee drinks and other foods. Others are excited about the arrival of sweater weather. What I do not see is people asking how they are going to find a way to pay heat bills when they are already stretched thin. We all know that, along with many others, is a question that many families in our communities are starting to ask themselves if they haven't already. What does fall mean to you?

Recipe of the Week: Lentil Soup

Last week I asked our Facebook fans and Twitter followers what kinds of things they wanted to read on our blog. A couple of people commented that they wanted to see more recipes with things that we distribute. Specifically, someone suggested lentils.
