Since 2007, we’ve conducted focus groups with hundreds of food bank clients in different communities across Washington and shared their stories with our coalitions, legislators and others who help fight hunger through policy work. Our annual focus group reports seek to amplify the voices of those we serve.
Clients join our facilitators for conversation about their experiences of hunger and securing enough food to feed themselves and their families. In each community, the value of people talking together about their common struggles is evident. Participants learn from each other and share information about community resources.
We learn a great deal from clients and hope you will also learn from their first-hand experiences through our focus group reports. The latest report was released in January 2014. We will share the results with our coalitions, legislators and others who can help fight hunger through policy work.
