Northwest Harvest makes it easy for growers and processors to join in the statewide effort of feeding Washington’s hungry.
Over many years working closely with the agricultural industry, we have come to appreciate the fact that many in the agricultural business don’t want their food to go to waste. Northwest Harvest provides growers and processors with the opportunity to put this food— the result of your labor and dedication— to good use.
When you need to move product that will not have success in the market, we step in to help you:
- avoid a disposal fee
- avoid adding to your local landfill
- clear your facility storage space to be free for new product
- potentially receive a tax deduction for donating rather than disposing of your product
- avoid the costs of repackaging and handling because we accept product in bulk

- We have the capacity to take product in bulk form and repackage it with our volunteer resources.

- With our extensive network of trucking resources including our own fleet, we are able to respond quickly to growers and pick up their product in a timely manner.
