Northwest Harvest is Washington’s own, and only, statewide hunger relief agency. We are independent, community-based and a leading expert on fighting hunger. We are working to end hunger with the help of more than 300 partner food banks and meal programs across Washington.

Founded in 1967, we have grown to become a statewide food distribution agency, annually securing close to 18 million pounds of food. Northwest Harvest’s main office is based in Seattle but it has distribution centers and warehouses in Stevens, Yakima, Grays Harbor and King County.

With 40 years of experience in the food distribution industry, a solid reputation and name recognition in the state, a partnership with Northwest Harvest is good for public image and for business.

As a 501(c)(3) agency, all donations of goods and services to Northwest Harvest are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Learn more about how support of all kinds can make a great difference:

  • Growers and processors are some of our most valued donors. Find out how Northwest Harvest is uniquely positioned to serve the agricultural industry most effectively.

  • Community support provides Northwest Harvest with food, funds and volunteer labor; but also office furniture, warehouse equipment, software and professional services. In most cases, donations of skills and assets are also tax-deductible. Do you have assets you think could be used to help support our mission? See our list of current needs or contact us to find out more.

  • Media partnerships help us to share our mission and involve the community in supporting their neighbors. Whether it is a donation of advertising, event sponsorship or the facilitation of community discussion, media support plays a critical role focusing attention on issues affecting hunger in Washington.
